In 1994 I moved to Taos in order to continue my passion for a full life as a husband, father, skier and yogi in this wonderful community. I purchased Taos Properties Real Estate in 1999, after working in the company for four years. My wife Lisa helped manage initially, and then became a licensed broker in 2004. We have been running the company together as a team every since. There are many benefits as well as challenges to owning a small business in Taos. Our success is a result many years of hard work in a tight knit community which respects effort and honesty. Our business, as well as our family focus, has allowed us create intimate relationships and to integrate into the lives of families and friends we now call our community.
In addition to my position at Taos Properties, I have had the opportunity to work with many high net worth individuals and families. From 2007 through 2015, I was the President of Cooke Street Investments, a portfolio company for a private equity firm in NY. During that time I helped create and develop a long range acquisition strategy for a portfolio of properties across several asset classes, in New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Currently, I serve as the President of the Taos County Association of Realtors.
My time in this community has been fulfilling and rewarding. With over 30 years of experience and a broad scope of knowledge about the real estate market, I will say with confidence that Taos Properties can help you with all of your real estate needs.
